  • Show high vs low with hand signs
  • Friday mini-show: sing 1 song with family clapping the beat

Week 3 • Instruments & Patterns

  • Explore keyboard app/recorder; learn 3 notes
  • Call-and-response rhythms
  • Create a 4-box rhythm grid (clap/tap/shaker/silence)
  • Friday mini-show: perform your grid

Week 4 • Compose & Share

  • Pick a favorite song; draw a “music map” (intro/verse/chorus)
  • Compose an 8-beat rhythm and notate with dots/dashes
  • Record a 60-sec performance
  • Friday mini-show: share song/map/composition
