- Clap/tap simple patterns (quarter/eighth notes)
- Make a shaker or box drum
- Friday mini-show: echo-clap patterns

Week 2 • Melody & Voice
- Siren warmups; hum on “mm”
- Learn 2 folk songs (try Frère Jacques, This Little Light)
- Show high vs low with hand signs
- Friday mini-show: sing 1 song with family clapping the beat

Week 3 • Instruments & Patterns
- Explore keyboard app/recorder; learn 3 notes
- Call-and-response rhythms
- Create a 4-box rhythm grid (clap/tap/shaker/silence)
- Friday mini-show: perform your grid

- Pick a favorite song; draw a “music map” (intro/verse/chorus)
- Compose an 8-beat rhythm and notate with dots/dashes
- Record a 60-sec performance
- Friday mini-show: share song/map/composition
